Command string.pad

The command string.pad is used to add content to the right or left side of a string.

Parameters

  1. character [string]
    Text to be inserted.
  2. length [string]
    Maximum size of the changed text.
  3. align [string]
    Alignment, left or right.
  4. origin [string]
    Text that will be added to the character.
  5. destination [integer]
    Variable that will receive the result of the command.

Example


In the example above the first command string.pad will add character 0 to the left side of the string 1234, the command will accept a maximum 10 characters, so the result will be 0000001234.

The second command string.pad will add character 0 to the right side of the string 1234, the command will accept a maximum 10 characters, so the result will be 1234000000.
