Command network.hostdisconnect

Learn more about Host integration - Simple HTTP.

The command network.hostdisconnect is used to disconnect from the host terminal but remain connected to the network.

In the example above the command preconnect will make a connection with the host. The command network.hostdisconnect will close this connection but the device will maintain the network connection.

If a dial-up (PPP and SDLC) connection was used to perform the transaction, it's necessary to use the command shutdownmodem to close the socket, preventing the device from keeping the line busy.

The command network.hostdisconnect also closes the socket that was opened with the preconnect, but only for connection types ETHERNET and GPRS .
