This guide will walk you through the process of installing the CloudWalk Framework on terminals Verifone C680, E265, VX 520, VX 680, VX 685 and VX 690. Be aware of the prerequisites and follow the installation process carefully.
Prerequisites
Adapter cable: Micro USB to USB
USB memory stick: A USB pendrive.
CloudWalk Framework package: Select your device brand, model and signature (if applicable):
To identify the version of the operating system that is installed on your terminal, restart it and hold the Key 5 at boot time.
Keep the operating system of your devices up to date. Devices with outdated operating system can be slow and may also have communication problems.

Preparing the device
When you connect the terminal with the power cable, after displaying the initial screen that displays the version of the operating system and if it does not have any applications installed, it will remain in the following screen:
DOWNLOAD NEEDED
No *GO variable
If the terminal does not stay on the suggested screen, place it in download mode by following the steps below:
Press the ENTER and 7 keys simultaneously
Enter the password provided by the equipment vendor
Select the menu: 3 Download
Press ENTER to confirm the Group ID: _1
Re-enter the password provided by the equipment vendor
Select the menu: 1 Single-app
Select the menu: 1 Full dnld
Copy the load package to the pendrive and connect it to the terminal
Select the menu: 5 USB Flash Memory
Updating EOS
To load the EOS through the pendrive, do the following:
Connect the USB pendrive to the computer and format it (FAT32)
Unzip the verifone_evo.zip package you downloaded
Copy only the file: verifone_evo_usb / os_eos / eos / VERIFONE.zip to the root of the pendrive
Using the adapter cable, connect the pendrive to the device
The terminal should recognize the connected pendrive and read the load packet. Confirm download of all files and wait for the upload to finish
Remove the USB flash drive and the adapter cable and press ENTER to restart the device
As soon as the terminal restarts, the files and signatures of the uploaded files will be checked. If there is no error, the terminal will return to the download screen automatically
Loading the CloudWalk Framework
To load the CloudWalk Framework into the terminal via a USB stick, do the following:
Connect the USB stick to the computer and format it (FAT32)
Unzip the verifone_evo.zip package you downloaded
Copy only the file: verifone_evo_usb / framework / VERIFONE.zip to the root of the pendrive
Using the adapter cable, connect the pendrive to the device
On terminals C680 , connect the pendrive to the terminal on the back usb entry as shown below (don't works on the side usb port):
On terminals VX 520 , connect the pendrive to the terminal on the back as shown below:
For the VX 685 terminals, the location for connecting the pendrive is located on the cable that is used to charge the battery, as shown in the figure below:
The terminal should recognize the connected pendrive and read the load packege. Confirm download of all files and wait for the upload to finish
Remove the USB pendrive and the adapter cable and press ENTER to restart the device
As soon as the terminal restarts, the files and signatures of the uploaded files will be checked. If there is no error, the terminal is ready to start first run on the CloudWalk platform
Troubleshooting
If the loading process didn't start, please make sure that:
The USB stick is formatted with FAT32.
Just the file VERIFONE.zip is present on the root of the USB pendrive.
The adapter cable may be with a bad contact.
The pendrive or the terminal may be damaged.
If the Framework load fail, please, make sure that:
The file package EOS was previously uploaded and updated;
The file package Cless was previously uploaded and updated;
The file signature is compatible with the one from the terminal.
CloudWalk Framework - First launch
Now that the CloudWalk Framework has already been installed on the device, the next step is to perform the first launch configuration.
